The University of Limerick has marked the University’s first fifty years celebrations in many different ways over the last few months. As a permanent legacy of the UL50 jubilee year, different sections of the campus community were invited to formally plant a tree along the avenue near the Living Bridge.
This week the library staff attended a ceremony to plant the Library Dawn Redwood, and pictured at the ceremony: interim director Ciara McCaffrey(left) and the library's longest serving member of staff, Gerardine Ahern(right).
