Patricia O’ Gorman,  NMIO, Adjunct Associate Clinical Lecturer ,  Florence Nightingale scholar & Windsor leadership Alumni . Patricia is the NMIO in the ULHG & CHO3 .

Having returned to Ireland after 12 years’ experience in New York in the critical care setting, Patricia took up the position as the  Assistant Director of Nursing in the ULHG in 2004 and worked through medical , surgical reconfiguration and embedding the directorate structure in the ULHG .
Progressed to work in the medical directorate in UHL and Operational Director of Nursing in Nenagh and Ennis and has a special focus on specialist and advanced nurse progression, Nurse and Midwifery Quality assurance , frailty and care of the elderly working on  initiatives such as “What Matters to you” and Falls collaborations  leading to Ennis hospital have the National best patient experience results in 2018. Patricia was the clinical lead for the Midwest vaccine programme .
Patricia successfully completed her degree in management practice in 2017 and led her to  become  a Florence Nightingale Scholar in 2019 .
Patricia holds the brief for leadership at all levels within the ULHG Nurse and Midwifery strategy 2019-2022.
Patricia completed a degree in International human resources  to support international recruitment and cultural diversity. Currently undertaking  level 9 health care data analytics in ATU  to support Digital transformation in the ULHG & CHO3 .
