The Annual AHSS Postgraduate Research Conference 2023 will take place on Thursday and Friday 18 & 19 May 2023. AHSS Postgraduates from UL, Mary Immaculate College and Technological University of the Shannon are invited to present a paper or poster at the Conference. This conference is a great way to develop presentation skills for discipline-specific conferences, and to share research findings and methods with others as students develop their work. I would particularly like to encourage students to submit themed panels, as this reflects leadership within their field of research, and can be a valuable addition to funding proposals in the future. Paper proposals: submit an abstract of max. 250 words plus title for an individual paper (15 mins). Panel proposals: submit a panel proposal, including the panel theme, a short 150 word panel abstract, and the 4 proposed speakers with their max. 250-word paper abstracts plus title (15 minute papers) Poster proposals: submit an abstract of max. 250 words plus title.
