We are delighted to announce that our AHSS PhD Development Seminar for this academic semester is face-to-face and it will take place on Wednesday 2 October 2024 at 11am in the Kate O’Brien Room, C1-079. The topic is ‘Teaching/Tutoring Best Practices’.

Faculty and former graduands will share their experiences on tutoring/teaching practices in the classroom in a Roundtable discussion format. This will also be a great opportunity for postgraduates to share their own experiences with new and existing tutors within AHSS as well as learning from others’ experiences. Helpful IT resources from our IT Technologist will be shared that can be used within the classroom. It would be helpful for those attending to have some questions, comments or concerns you may have with regard to tutoring and these may be addressed at the session. Teas/coffees and pastries will be provided and, if you are attending, please complete the attached form, for catering purposes.

You are all very welcome to attend. It is also a great place to meet other AHSS Researchers and build on our AHSS PG community.
