This performance explores the many ways of songwriting; melody, rhythm, harmony, lyrics, emotion, passivity, noise, experience, indecision, purpose, nonsense, interference, elation, dissonance... Through this solo song performance, Steve will disentangle, deconstruct and demonstrate the elements he uses in his songwriting practice. Steve is the founding member and principal songwriter of seminal Irish bands Giveamanakick and Windings. He is a serial collaborator and has co-written and played guitar with the Rusangano Family and Denise Chaila on their Choice Music Prize winning albums.
