AHSS PhD Development Series 2024

As part of our AHSS PhD Development Seminar Series, there was a workshop on 'AI Write Tools for Academic Writing.' This took place on Wednesday 16 October 2024 at 10.30am in the School of Law Boardroom, FB-028.

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Maria Palomares and Dr. Catherine Martin. This workshop was based on the insights of a literature review and a survey carried out as part of an Erasmus + project. The ‘AI Write’ project aims to promote the effective implementation of best practices for using AI tools to support academic writing. The aim during the workshop, was interactive in nature, to combine reflection and practice about AI-based writing approaches . During the workshop, participants interacted with pedagogically tested and effective tools at hand to integrate AI-based technology in their Academic writing.

The workshops from the AHSS PhD Seminar Series are organised as a great place to upskill and to meet other AHSS Researchers with a view to build on our AHSS PG community.
