All-Ireland ARTiculation Final 2025
Tuesday, 8 April 2025

On 3 April 2025, Dr Karol Mullaney-Dignam (School of History & Geography) reprised her role as an external adjudicator of the national ARTiculation Ireland finals at The Hunt Museum, Limerick, alongside Mike Maunsell, Prof. in Communications, Public Speaking and Presentations Skills @TUS.

The ARTiculation Ireland competition seeks to engage students between 16-18 years, regardless of background or experience, with art, artefacts, and architecture to develop the confidence and ability to express their opinions and conclusions. The 2025 ARTiculation Ireland winner was Lily Murphy, Ursuline Secondary School, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

In these uncertain times, the future is bright with brilliant teenagers speaking confidently, passionately, and preparedly, about art, architecture, history, heritage, and historical material culture.
