Alumna Dr Rachel Hynes has been shortlisted for the RTE Short Story Competition, 2022: rte.ie/culture. She will be speaking on Arena with Sean Rocks on RTÉ Radio One next Monday night 17 October at 7.50pm. Rachel has a PhD in English from UL and edited The Ogham Stone, UL's literary journal, during her time on campus.
