Autism in the city event by the Centre for Irish German Studies, Centre for the Study of Popular Music and Culture, and Aonad na Gaeilge

An event hosted by the Centre for Irish German Studies, Centre for the Study of Popular Music and Culture, and Aonad na Gaeilge, ‘Autism and the City (Autism@ULSpecial Interest Group (SIG)), welcomed Keith McAllister, Director of Architecture & Planning, School of Natural & Built Environment, QUB. Keith shared his experiences of introducing change into the environment in order to create inclusive spaces for living and learning. His ongoing academic research is focussed broadly on the relationship between Architecture and Fear, especially for those populations without a voice. As the extremely proud father of a wonderful autistic son, his particular interest is in the relationship between architecture and autism.
