Centre for Irish-German Studies co-host 2-day international conference “New Ways of Engagement and the International Context: Northern Ireland and Ireland”

The Centre for Irish-German Studies was co-organiser (together with the FAHSS Ulster University and KAS) of a 2-day international conference “New Ways of Engagement and the International Context: Northern Ireland and Ireland”” which took place in Belfast 3-4 November 2022. Speakers include Jon Tonge, David Phinnemore, Katy Hayward, Pól Ó Dochartaigh, Ian Paisley, Sorcha Eastwood, Charles Flanagan, John Gormley, Declan Kearney, Claire Hanna, Jan Carson, and others. UL is represented by Donal Ryan, Bernadette Connaughton, Joachim Fischer, Liam Murray, and Gisela Holfter (joint organiser). This is the follow-up event to last year’s 18^th International Conference in Irish-German Studies which took place in UL in November 2021.
