Centre for Irish-German Studies "Limericker Literaturgespräche"

The Centre for Irish-German Studies had the pleasure of welcoming German author Roman Ehrlich (Berlin) on 16 and 17 April as part of the ‘Limericker Literaturgespräche’, supported by the DAAD Centre Stage programme.

The readings from his novel "Malé" (longlisted for the German Buchpreis 2020) were a great success, and attracted not only many students and colleagues in UL but also online guests, hailing from Malta, Germany, the UK and Ireland. This was the third and final reading of German authors organised by CIGS this spring, in addition to three more installments to the Irish-German Business Lecture series in February and March 2023.
