Classical String Students perform at National Concert Hall Anniversary Gala

The MA in Classical Strings students were the main performers at the recent NCH showcase on the 9th September. Course Director Diane Daly was invited to devise and direct a programme that would celebrate the 40th anniversary of the opening of this prestigious Concert Hall, to launch the new concert season and the NCH return to live audiences. The 10 current MACSP students formed the core of the new ensemble Libra Strings,  joined by young professional performers, many of whom were recent graduates of the MA programme and members of the Irish Chamber Orchestra. The ensemble embraces Diane's recent doctoral research, combining movement and lighting to enhance the experience of connection for both performers and audience.
