Dr Aengus Ó Fionnagáin delivers Jeremiah Sheehan Memorial Lecture to Moate Historical Society

On Tuesday, 12 March, Dr Aengus Ó Fionnagáin gave a lecture entitled 'Place names in and around Moate'. The paper discussed the origins, meaning and development of 20 place names in and around the town.
