Dr Conor Caldwell Album Launch

Dr Conor Caldwell launched his new recording Oh, Listen to the Band! at the Blas International Summer School of Traditional Music and Dance on July 4th in the Irish World Academy theatre. The record explores the impact of jazz culture on Irish traditional music in the 1920s and uses arts practice methodology to fill in gaps in the historical record.

Featuring Ryan Molloy, Ben Castle and UL graduate Cathal Ó Curráin, Oh, Listen to the Band! been featured in The Irish News and The Irish Echo, as well as receiving airplay on RTÉ Radio 1, Raidió na Gaeltachta, Lyric FM, BBC Radio Ulster and internationally.
