Dr. Majka Ryan presented findings from the research that she conducted with Dr. Martin Power and Prof. Eoin Devereux (Department of Sociology) on the role of foodbanks in alleviating food poverty. 
Majka presented her paper, entitled "Determinants of food poverty in Ireland" last Friday (03/09) at the 15th Conference of European Sociological Association, "Sociological Knowledges for Alternative Futures", Barcelona, Spain.
