Erasmus Staff Mobility/Intercultural Communication in Warsaw

In June 2023, Dr. Niamh Lenahan went to Warsaw University, Poland for Erasmus Staff Mobility Week. The University of Warsaw provided ‘Intercultural Training’ for the week. There were representations from the following countries; Germany, Czech Republic, Spain, France, Latvia, Poland, England, Palestine, Ukraine, Slovakia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Republic of Moldova, Italy, Bhutan, Serbia, Sweden, Israel, Georgia, Taiwan, Turkey, Romania The training included a tour of the campus and the city. We spent every day on campus where training was provided on subjects such as our understanding of cultures, theory on culture and an introduction to polish language and customs. It was a great experience to meet other colleagues working in the same postgraduate area and availing of this travel and training was very beneficial.
