Dr Nita Mishra, as Vice President (Education and Next Generation) of the European Association of Development Research and Training Institute (EADI) funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development or BMZ , attended the annual management/ Executive Committee meeting hosted by IDOS.

The two-day meeting focused on the work of EADI for the next 3 years including a Summer Research Methods School to be hosted in Ireland as part of its 50 years celebrations.

A mini-workshop on practical opportunities and potentials for decolonising knowledge was facilitated by Professor Peter Taylor of IDS, UK. Outcomes include an invite to co-author paper on decolonising methods, and co-editing a possible journal special edition or a book on early career researchers' work on development studies.

High level strategic engagement at European level on Development Studies reflected through this engagement for AHSS faculty, PPA department and the university.
