Jonas Hirschi gives guest lecture about ' The diplomatic relations between two island nations’

The Centre for Irish-German Studies invited Jonas Hirschi (Diplomatic Documents of Switzerland, Berne), to give the guest lecture ‘Ireland-Switzerland – The diplomatic relations between two island nations’. Ireland and Switzerland are both island nations: one geographically and the other one politically. Jonas is pursuing how diplomatic relations between the two states have developed with research in the National Archives in Bern and Dublin. The lecture was presented in hybrid format and was very well received.
