On Wednesday 19th April Prof Joseph O'Connor read from his bestselling and critically acclaimed novel MY FATHER’S HOUSE, to a capacity audience at UL's Bourn Vincent Gallery, and was interviewed by Dr Emily Cullen. There was a beautiful performance of choral music from the Academy Singers, including Prof Helen Phelan. On Saturday 22nd, Prof O'Connor read to a packed house at the Triskel Arts Centre, Cork. This was the first date of a summer tour that will see Joe read at Listowel, Dalkey, TCD, Kells, Armagh, Phizzfest, the Dublin International Writers Festival, Ballaghaderreen Arts Festival and at Gorey, Co Wexford, with Colm Tóibín.
