Sarah Moore hosts Workshop in collaboration with Children's Books Ireland

In collaboration with Children's Books Ireland, Sarah Moore hosted a workshop for parents on Oct 26^th in Galway's Scoil Chroí Íosa, entitled 'Helping your child to become a reader' where she showcased the strong connections between reading for pleasure and articulacy, wellbeing, confidence and academic achievement in children, and explored strategies to support reading at school and at home.  

Prof. Moore also hosted an online creative writing workshop on Nov 2, raising €300 - as part of her work as advocate for primary school Scoil Chroi Íosa in Galway.
