The Summer Institute Programme (July 2021)

The Summer Institute Programme was successfully launched over two weeks in July by UL Global in conjunction with the TESOL/Linguistics Section of MLAL with the successful completion today of the first course involving 20 teachers from Brazil. This initiative has been developed in response to the transition to English medium instruction in HE and secondary education in many parts of the world, and in support of the UL@50  strategic internationalisation plan. 

The Summer Institute Programme offers bespoke courses in EMI for international academics, and secondary schools teachers and is being led by Dr Angela Farrell and Dr Catherine Martin, with Dr Chris Fitzgerald and AHSS PhD student Michelle Daly also involved in its delivery.
