UL Journalism Student Magazine Wins Magazine of the Year at National Student Media Awards

The Magazine ‘Eclectic’, produced by second year journalism students, has won Magazine of the Year at the National Student Media Awards. 

The module is overseen by Aoife Sheehan, Associate Teacher in journalism. This is the second time the magazine has won the title. Speaking about the latest award she said: "I'm delighted for the class who worked hard on this project. It is a wonderful recognition by key industry leaders of the high standard of work produced by our journalism students here in UL and this module provides a creative space to develop their skills in magazine work and feature writing".
