UL students at Intervarsity MA Public History Research Blitz

On Thursday 28 April, MA students at UL participated in the 1st Irish Intervarsity Public History Research Blitz.  Co-organised and co-hosted by Dr Karol Mullaney-Dignam, Department of History, UL, and Dr Georgina Laragy, Trinity College Dublin, the event saw MA Public History students from make 'lightning' (5 minutes, 5 slides) presentations on their MA dissertation research.  The presentations covered an impressive range of local, regional, national and international research projects concerning Public History and museums; Contested and Hidden Histories; Consuming and producing histories; Cultural Heritage and Sustainability. 5 students of UL's MA Public History and Cultural Heritage online programme participated.
