To celebrate the European Day of Languages and the centenary of the publication of Ulysses, the School of Modern Languages & Applied Linguistics hosted a cultural event entitled Ulysses in Translation at UL on 27th September.

Congratulations to Dr Tim Groenland (EIC) who has been awarded a YERUN (Young European Research Universities Network) Research Mobility Award. 

On 22 December 2021, the HSE Open Access Research Awards were announced in an online ceremony. It was a year of unprecedented interest in the awards and the judging panel had to be expanded to deal with the surge in entries.
