Our policies

Gender Identity and Gender Expression

This policy affirms UL’s commitment to respecting and supporting each individual’s gender identity and expression.

UL prohibits any discrimination based on gender identity, gender expression, or intersex status.

The university is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment, promoting awareness, and educating the community on gender diversity to ensure a respectful, positive experience for trans, gender-diverse, and intersex individuals.

Student Dignity and Respect Policy and Procedures

This policy aims to maintain a safe and respectful environment at University of Limerick, where discrimination, harassment, and bullying are not tolerated.

It outlines UL's approach to preventing these behaviors, supporting affected students, and addressing complaints fairly and efficiently.

Early intervention is emphasised to help resolve issues informally, with a structured investigation process in place if informal resolution is not possible.
