Course Objectives/Outcomes

Provides basis for you to develop a strong CV for adaptation to your preferred career path. Builds strategy around career development.

Please note that break out rooms will be used during the workshop and you will be asked to share your CV in small groups as part of a Peer Review exercise.

Trainee Requirements

In advance of the workshop you will be required to send the following

  • A brief 100 word outline of your research area along with the name of your academic department
  • A copy of Your current CV (don’t worry if this is not up to date as you will have time to work on it)

and

  • Details of a job description you are replying to (if relevant) or types of jobs you hope to apply for
