FREEDOM OF INFORMATION (FOI) Training

The Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 2014 applies to the University of Limerick and impacts on all of us in our day-to-day work. 

This is a practical 1-hour FOI awareness session which will provide:

• An introduction to the FOI Act 2014, including important definitions,
• How the FOI process works within the University,
• Practical implications of FOI – the obligations and requirements FOI places on each of us as employees of the University.

This session is highly recommended for all employees of the University – both those new to the area of FOI and those who wish to refresh their FOI knowledge.
