This seminar aims to offer a critique and to open a productive space for dialogue among teacher educators and educational researchers in Ireland in relation to the realist ontology underpinning the Process-Product paradigm that has become a mainstream way, especially in the last decade, of conceptualising Teacher Educator Professional Learning (TEPL) in Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) in Ireland, Europe, the OECD and across the western world.
