Display Screens in Offices
To improve access to training in Display Screen Equipment (DSE), a new online training and risk assessment programme that can be completed by you at your workstation has been introduced. The e-learning software may be accessed by clicking DSE Training. Register your details to set up your individual profile and password. The training course takes about 15 minutes and is completed with an online DSE risk assessment.

As the earliest stages of pregnancy are the most critical ones for the developing child, all pregnant employees are strongly encouraged to notify their supervisor as early as possible so that a Pregnant Employee Assessment can be carried out.
The purpose of the risk assessment is to ensure that there is no H&S risk posed by working conditions to the mother or her unborn/nursing child.

The University of Limerick provides facilities for staff and students to accommodate breastfeeding mothers. The Mother and Baby Room is located in the Main Building, Room E0-010a. The University is committed to providing mothers with appropriate working arrangements and the support necessary to enable mothers to balance breastfeeding and work.
