HRI Team Part of €2.2M Initiative: Digital Health Solutions for Food Security in Uganda

A significant new study, led by Professor Austin Stack, a prominent member of the Health Research Institute (HRI) at the University of Limerick (UL), has uncovered an alarmingly high prevalence of kidney disease among older individuals in Ireland suffering from common chronic conditions. The research, published in the Clinical Kidney Journal of the European Renal Association, highlights the critical need for targeted screening and early intervention to combat this widespread health issue.
