The UL Web Team has welcomed several new members in recent months so we thought now would be a good time to introduce the new team.
Some of the members of the Web Team will be well-known to many of you already including, Senior Web Officer Mairead Loughran who has been working at UL now for 24 years, Bren Vaughan, Web Manager, who has been in the role since 2018, Paul Leigh, Content Strategist, who also joined in 2018, and Senior Web Developer Michael Gleeson, who has been with the team since 2019.
Five brand new members were added to the web team earlier this year including three digital content creators and two specialists in User Experience (UX).
The new digital content creators are Becca Laffan, June Shannon and Emma Mullane. Both Becca and June have a background in journalism with the national press, Emma is a talented graphic designer and Jacques and Ciara are experts in User Experience or UX.
With a wealth of experience in web design, development, content creation and user experience, the new UL Web Team strive to produce a clear, usable, modern website that facilitates users' needs while adhering to standards and best practices across all areas including compliance, accessibility and GDPR.
